In 1965 colonel Jimmy Roberts presented the world to the trekking. As former leader of Gurkha and Military attach3e to the British embassy with Kathmandu it had spent the years of his life walking the hills of Nepal. Its idea, revolutionist during time, was to provide tents like Sherpa s, to guide it and make cook. This made Nepal and the Himalayas available at a broad community and was an immediate success. Nowadays the formula is well established; the groups travel by the hills, going during five to six hours each day with all their equipment carried by luggage handlers or yaks; meals of good quality are provided with the hot bags of bed and the comfortable tents; the trekker carries a personal package with the camera, the clothing of day and the snacks. Walk during days on the end could resound intimidating, but really it is not too difficult, no matter who who walked to marked steps the hills of the Zealand News with their own package will find the trekking Nepalese much easier, and more elegant! I took seven to seventy years on much of excursions in the Nepalese hills. The age is not any barrier, the most important attribute to appreciate the voyage and Nepal generally, is good attitude.

The first trekker in Nepal was Bill tilman, which disputed in way or other the permission of the maharaja into 1949 to make several voyages, including Kali Gandaki, Helambu and Everest. Its exploits are described in Nepal the Himalayas, traditional of alpinism which was reprinted by the mountaineers of Seattle as an element of a collection of Tilman, the seven Mountain-travel of the books. The first visitor of Anothere was Maurice Herzog, who led a French forwarding to Annapurna in 1950.

During parents Tribhuvan the 'visits of S towards India, the king met Boris Lissnnivich, a Russian ballet dancer which ran a club in Calcutta.Boris convinced the king that people would like to visit Nepal and would pay really the experiment. Soon some landies easy flew of patan in Kathmandu airport 'of S Gaucher to Indian Airlines Dakota. Boris accommodated them in his new establishment, the hotel of Roal. The women were charmed by Boris and the exotic kingdom of Nepal. Thus the toursm of Nepali had been born. The royal hotel and its yaks and bar of Yeti became the place of meeting for the climbing ones of the Fifties until 1971, when the royal hotel was closed.

Colonel James OM Roberts was the first nobody to realize that the trekking would call upon the tourists. Jimmy Roberts had spent the years to the Nepal attached to the British residence and Tilman accompanied on its first voyage. In 1965 it took a group of ladies to the top of Gandaki kali and founded the voyage of mountain, the first of the companies of trekking of Nepal 'of the S and the inspiration for the industry of voyage of adventure.
